Ten winners of The Sony World Photography Awards have been announced, recognising the best single photos taken in 2025.
The winning images have been judged from over 430,000 sent from more than 200 countries and territories.
The same awards has an Open Photographer of the Year prize, and the shortlists have been released. The winner will be announced at the Awards' ceremony in London on 16 April.
Let's take a look at some of the category winners!

Vanta Coda III from the US won the lifetstyle category for the portrait Charlotte and Dolly, showing a young woman and her cow resting together in a barn to keep cool in the summer heat in West Virginia, United States. Do you think Dolly is enjoying that Tik Tok?

Klaus Hellmich from Germany won the Nature and Wildlife category. He snapped a furry blue arctic fox in the Varager Peninsula, Norway. The fox is caught in a blizzard and stands alone braving the wind and snow.

Robby Ogilvie from the UK dazzled the judges with this shot called Colour Divides. The blue car against bright green and pink buildings of the Bo-Kaap neighbourhood was photographed in Cape Town, South Africa.

These beautiful shots were taken in Namibia. They show the Sossusvlei dunes, and were taken by J Fritz Rumpf from the United States. The picture is called Shapes and Patterns of the Desert, and won the Landscape category.
