Look Mum No Computer is a songwriter and YouTuber, with a huge following on social media.

The Kent-based artist was picked by the BBC along with industry experts - who say he was chosen for his 'bold vision and unique sound.'

As well as being a solo artist, he's also been described as "an inventor of unique musical machines."

Battle has attracted attention for the unusual electronic instruments he creates, including organs made from Game Boys and flame-throwing keyboards.

"I've been working a long-time creating, writing, and producing my own visions from scratch, and documenting my process," he explained.

Battle added that he can't wait to get on stage and represent the UK.

"I have always been a massive Eurovision fan, and I love the magical joy it brings to millions of people every year, so getting to join that legacy and fly the flag for the UK is an absolute honour that I am taking very seriously," he said.

However, if you're hoping to take a listen to the song that will be performed at the Contest, you'll have to wait a little longer - as it hasn't been revealed yet.

Austria's capital, Vienna, will host the singing contest in 2026.

It comes after the country won the competition last May, thanks to singer JJ who soared to the top of the leaderboard with the operatic ballad 'Wasted Love'.

It's Eurovision tradition for the competition to be held in the winner's nation the following year.

It'll be the third time that the Eurovision Song Contest will be held in Vienna.

The city has hosted the competition twice before - in 1967 and 2015.

The Grand Final of the 70th Eurovision Song Contest will be held on Saturday 16 May 2026.

It will take place at the Wiener Stadthalle, Austria's largest indoor arena.

The two semi-finals will be held earlier the same week, on Tuesday 12 May and Thursday 14 May.
