Sony World Photography Awards: Check out these pics taken by teens

Images like this one above, which was taken by 19-year-old Riley, have been shortlisted in the youth category of the 2026 Sony World Photography Awards.
It shows a man looking out over Lake Kawaguchi to Mount Fuji framed by bright red and orange autumn leaves.
The overall winner from the 10 images will be announced in April.

This image taken by 16-year-old Ayden is called 'Jump'. He describes the picture as "a perfect visual description of teamwork," and took it during a football game in Florida.

What a lovely family picture. Victor who is 19, took this family portrait of monkeys on Pidurangala Rock in Sri Lanka. He particularly likes this image because of the little monkey in the image and how striking his eyes are. Victor said he liked "the strong sense of family, even among animals."

16-year-old Jeirin captured this regal photograph of a peacock preening its feathers on the tip of a branch.

This image captured by Jane makes it look like this BMX rider is being carried by the plane. The 15-year-old said she loves this photo because of the perfect timing which was captured in just one take.

15-year-old Doğa captured this image both over and under the water, showing two environments in just one frame. They called the image 'Between Two Worlds'.

Modern meets old in this geometric picture taken by 19-year-old Abdallah. The modern triangular structure frames the Great Pyramid.

Keira managed to get this picture of a red-eyed tree frog in a rainforest in Costa Rica. She used artificial light to make the frog stand out with vivid eyes. She said it captures the stillness of nocturnal life in the rainforest.
