The Masked Singer

The Christmas costumes were in full show on this year's special episode, with celebrities dressed as figgy pudding, mistletoe, presents and a goose.
But who was underneath?
After many guesses and shouts of "Take it off!", the stars behind the masks included radio DJ Scott Mills and iconic children's presenter Baroness Floella Benjamin.
But it was presenter and broadcaster Dermot O'Leary, best known for hosting the X Factor and This Morning, who won as Mistletoe.
The Masked Singer will return in a brand new series for 2026 on Saturday 3 January.
Strictly Come Dancing

In last week's final, Karen Carney was crowned as the winner of the latest series of Strictly Come dancing, but who won the Christmas special?
It was victory for TV personality Scarlett Moffatt, who was coupled with professional dancer Vito Coppola.
Scarlett said that their full 40 points from the judges was "honestly the greatest gift that could have ever happened at Christmas."
Gladiators

Fitness coach Joe Wicks and presenter Vogue Williams came out as champions in this celebrity showdown, beating the competition of reality TV star Sam Thompson and boxer Nicola Adams.
Joe even survived the full wrath of Gladiator Viper, who was disqualified early from a rather hard whack to Joe's head during the duel challenge.
But Joe was very happy with the show's result, saying: 'I'm really chuffed that I won but I have to say Sam has been an amazing partner.'
The King's Speech

The King's yearly Christmastime message was the most-watched TV programme on Christmas Day, with over 6.5 million viewers tuning in.
During his speech from Westminster Abbey, the King talked about how important it is for different communities to come together in hard times.
The King said: "As I meet people of different faiths, I find it enormously encouraging to hear how much we have in common... With the great diversity of our communities we can find the strength to ensure that right triumphs over wrong."
