Did you know that the World Cup has its own official music?

This year, Columbian pop star Shakira has joined the line-up of artists who are releasing a song for the 2026 Fifa World Cup.

It's called Dai Dai, and Shakira took to social media to post a short one minute clip of the song.

"Dai dai" is an Italian phrase meaning "come on, come on", and the song's chorus repeats lots of motivational phrase in different languages, including "let's go".

Shakira is no stranger to football bops - and you might recognise her voice from one of last year's biggest films too.

Shakira is a very famous musician in lots of countries around the world.

In the UK, she's had two number one songs with Hips Don't Lie and Beautiful Liar.

She has been called the queen of Latin music, which is a group of musical genres - or styles - that come from the cultures of Latin America.

These include Spanish and Portuguese speaking parts of the Americas, like Mexico.

Mexico is one of the locations for the 2026 World Cup, as well as the US and Canada.

Shakira first joined the official world cup artists with her song Waka Waka (This Time for Africa), released for the 2010 tournament in South Africa.

And she's not just a star of the music world - she's been in films, too.

She played Gazelle in Zootropolis 2, performing the song Zoo from the movie, which she wrote with Ed Sheeran.

And Shakira is teaming up with another big artist for Dai Dai, with Nigerian singer-songwriter Burna Boy featuring on the track.
