What is this series?

The London Letter Challenge is a 10-episode video series for pre-intermediate (A2) level learners of English. Episodes are under 10 minutes long.

It follows three teams, Astrid and Eden, Ned and Clare, and Harry and Graham, as they follow clues that lead them to letters. Those letters spell out the final location - the location of the crowns. The first team to find the crowns will win!

Language

All language is graded specifically for pre-intermediate learners, and the target language for each episode is mapped to the CEFR at A2. Target language is repeated throughout each episode and is reviewed at the end in a language recap.

Each episode has subtitles with highlighted target language.

How should I use the series?

Watch the series in class or set it for homework. There is a free printable worksheet (click here to see an example) with answers for each episode that covers comprehension and target language practice.
