TRANSCRIPT
Paula
One city. Three teams. Eight letters. This is The London Letter Challenge.
Eden
Hi. I'm Eden.
Astrid
And I'm Astrid.
Eden
We're…
Astrid & Eden
…best friends!
Eden
We're excited about the challenge, aren't we?
Astrid
Excited, yes! And, you know what? I think we can win. I'm confident.
Eden
Yeah, I'm confident. We can do it.
Ned
Hi, I'm Ned. I'm a bit nervous about the challenge. I'm not confident, to be honest.
Clare
Yeah. He's not good with directions. I'm Clare.
Ned
Are you nervous?
Clare
I think we'll be OK. I'm confident we can win, but we have to stay calm.
Ned
Calm. Hmm, yeah.
Harry
I'm Harry. I'm doing the challenge with my dad.
Graham
Hi, I'm Graham. I'm with my son, Harry. This challenge is important for us – family is important. Spending time with Harry now is so important to me.
Harry
I'm leaving home in September. I'm starting university, so spending time with my dad in the challenge is important to me.
Graham
Harry is leaving home soon, for university. I'm excited to be spending some time with him.
Paula
So, welcome to the BBC – Graham and Harry, Astrid and Eden, and Ned and Clare. I'm Paula.
There are eight letters hidden all around London. The letters look like this. When you find all the letters, move them around to make a word or two, and that tells you where the crowns are. When you find the crowns, you are the winner!
So, how are you feeling? Graham, Harry?
Harry
We'll have fun. I'm a bit nervous, but I'm feeling positive.
Graham
We'll be alright, son. I'm positive too. I think we can do well, and we'll have fun together. I'm excited to be spending some time with Harry.
Paula
Ned, Clare?
Ned
I'm a bit nervous too, like Harry.
Clare
But we're confident we can win.
Paula
Astrid, Eden?
Eden
After you.
Astrid
No, after you!
Eden
I think we're excited, aren't we?
Astrid
Excited, yes, and confident, so watch out you guys!
Paula
You each get a clue. Choose one of these. Use the clue to find the first letter location. Are you ready? This is The London Letter Challenge. Good luck!
Graham and Harry already have a letter!
Clare
Come on, Ned.
Paula
Good luck! Good luck! Good luck! Good luck! Good luck! Good luck!
