If something causes an increase - it makes it happen.

bring about an increase
Bringabout an increase is very similar to cause an increase. It can sometimes be slightly less direct. Something that brings about an increase, makes it happen.

entail an increase
Entail an increase can mean to make an increase happen, or can mean that something involves an increase.
- I like your plans, but they are going to entail a large increase in spending.
see an increase
We see an increase when it is visible and possible to observe.
- If we look at climate figures, we can see an increase in temperatures around the world.
experience an increase
If something or someone experiences an increase, then it or they are affected by it.
- Recently, the city has been experiencing an increase in crime. The police have been criticised.
show an increase
Data or other evidence can show an increase, if it makes it visible, or clear.
- Official figures show an increase in health problems last year. It is clear to see that here is a problem
reflect an increase
Something can reflect an increase, if it shows it or is a consequence of the increase.
- The chart reflects the increase in prices since the start of the year. You can see how steep the curve is.
represent an increase
Something that represents an increase, can show or be equivalent to the amount of the increase.
- The change in energy usage represents an increase of nearly 20%. We should try to find a way to reduce this.

Data can show, reflect, or represent an increase - it just means that it tells us about the increase.

Climate data reflects the increase in global temperatures. It shows a steady increase.
