Useful expressions

1. be willing to take the lead

'Take the lead' అంటే ముందడుగు వెయ్యడం, సన్నద్ధమవ్వడం. హెడ్ లైన్‌లో 'to Take Lead' అని ఉంది, ‘the’ ని వదిలేసారు. హెడ్ లైన్స్ క్లుప్తంగా ఉండడం కోసం ఇలా కొన్ని పదాలను వదిలేస్తూ ఉంటారు. Willing to అంటే సిద్ధంగా ఉంది అని అర్థం.

The manager was looking for someone who waswilling to take the lead in finding new clients. 

The professor has beenwilling to take the lead in researching near ways to carry out experiments.

2. on track to meet

'On track to meet' అంటే లక్ష్యం చేరుకునే దిశలో ఉంది. అన్నీ సవ్యంగా జరిగితే త్వరలో లక్ష్యం చేరుకుంటుంది అని అర్థం. Meet అంటే చేరుకోవడం - 'meet a target', 'meet a goal', 'meet a commitment' లేదా 'meet a deadline' ఇలా ఏదైనా వాడొచ్చు. 

The bank is on track to meet their profit target. 

The project is on track to meet its deadline.

3. yet to find space in

Yet అని ఎప్పుడు వాడతామంటే ఇంకా జరగలేదు కానీ జరిగే అవకాశం ఉంది అని తెలిసినప్పుడు. Yet to Find Space అంటే ఇంకా చోటు దొరకలేదు లేదా చోటు దొరకాల్సి ఉంది అని అర్థం. ఇక్కడ space అంటే నిజంగా చోటు లేదా జాగా అని కాదు. ఇంకా శ్రద్ధ పెట్టలేదు లేదా దృష్టి పెట్టలేదు అనే అర్థంలో yet to find space అని వాడతాం.

We have yet to find spacein our schedule for that meeting.  = We haven't had time. 

We have yet to find spacein our plans to address this problem. = We've been too busy to do this.
