We all know what a baby is, but do you know any phrases to use with 'baby'?
Do you think if you sleep like a baby, you sleep well or badly? It means you sleep well.
I slept like a baby last night – I feel so rested this morning.
A baby step is a small act of progress towards achieving a bigger goal.
Starting with 10 minutes of exercise a day is a good baby step towards a healthier lifestyle.
If you baby someone, you give them excessive care and attention, as if they were a young child.
Stop babyinghim! He's 18. He needs to learn to make his own bed.
Lastly, if you have a baby face, it means you have a young-looking face.
The actor can't play the part of an old, strict teacher – he has too much of a baby face to be taken seriously.
Learning these phrases is a baby step towards achieving your goals in English!
