see/notice/hear + object + -ing verb
see/notice/hear + personal pronoun e.g. him, her, us + -ing verb
Examples:
I noticed a snake slithering in the grass.
I heard him talking to my dad on the phone.
She saw us whispering in the corner.
see/notice/hear + (that) + object + be + -ing verb
Examples:
I saw that my friend was standing in the queue.
I saw my friend was standing in the queue.
