Celebrity MasterChef
Series 21: 14. Episode 14Judges Grace Dent and Giorgio Locatelli are back as the final four take on two more culinary challenges. Their journey to be crowned champion is almost over, but who has what it takes to bring home the prize?
All that stands between the celebrities and a place in the final three is one dish. They need to take it right back to where it all began – their signature dish from day 1 – but reimagined to show what they have learnt and how far they have come. The judges need to see real progression, and no-one can afford to slip up, as at the end of the challenge, only the three best cooks will still be in the running for the title. Should they make it through, they will get the chance to cook at the one of the most prestigious events in the culinary calendar – the Chefs' Table.
Those lucky enough to make the final three need to draw on everything they have learned over the past few weeks and cook to the very highest of standards, as this year’s Chefs' Table will be held in one of the world’s most iconic hotels, The Ritz. This legendary hotel is home to the two-Michelin-starred The Ritz Restaurant at The Ritz, which is under the guidance of executive chef John Williams MBE, whose career has spanned over 50 years.
The three finalists must deliver food of an exceptional standard to impress some of the best chefs in the country, who hold ten Michelin stars between them – Jean-Philippe Blondet (Alain Ducasse at The Dorchester – three Michelin stars), Alain Roux (The Waterside Inn – three Michelin stars), Raymond Blanc (Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons – two Michelin stars), Lisa Goodwin-Allen (Northcote – one Michelin star), Adam Byatt (Trinity – one Michelin star), and acclaimed chefs and restaurateurs Atul Kochhar and James Martin. As they battle to master the exquisite dishes, will they hold their nerve, or is the pressure to deliver too intense?
