Frosting recipes
Frosting is a cake topping made from icing sugar that is whipped with either cream cheese or Italian meringue. It can be flavoured and coloured as desired.
Storage
Make the frosting just before you serve the cake and only ice as many cakes as you need. Store the frosting (and any iced cakes) in an airtight container in the fridge. The frosting will keep for 2-3 days.
Preparation
Frosted rose petals, chocolate scrolls or grated chocolate scattered over the surface of a frosted cake can make it look stunning.
