What is Holi?
It's a Hindu festival that's celebrated by millions of people every year. It's a festival that focuses on love, spring and beautiful colours. It also points to the Hindu god Krishna and the legend of Holika and Prahlad - Hindus celebrate the overpowering of good versus evil.
How is Holi celebrated around the world? 🌏
People throw grains, popcorn, coconut and lots of other yummy things onto bonfires together on the first night of Holi.
Then comes the fun festival of paint-throwing the next day. It's fun for everyone, Hindus fill the streets, rubbing and throwing paint and coloured water around, making a very beautiful scene!
