What is the Horrible Histories Raid and Trade game?

You are a Norse God who has been tasked to watch over your viking settlement.

You’ll need to keep the village safe, manage resources like food, wood and iron as well as making sure you have enough Jarls to protect your village and fight off invaders! There are a tonne of levels to choose from, each with their own challenges to overcome.

How do you play the Raid and Trade game?

  • ✨ Choose a Norse God including Thor, Loki or many more

  • 🕰️ Choose a level from 750AD to 1066AD, each with a new challenge

  • 🪵 Use Thralls to collect resources including wood and iron

  • 🔨 Use Karls to build weapons and cool buildings

  • ⚔️ Use Jarls to protect your village and trade with other vikings

  • 🛡️ Fight off invaders and turn them into lowly Thralls

What are the Vicious Viking mini-games?

The Vicious Viking games are underway! Play 4 excitingly treacherous mini-games including:

  • 🪓 Brynja Bloodaxe’s Chucking Challenge: How many axes could a viking chuck if a viking could chuck axes?

  • 🛶 Ragnarr the Raven’s Rhythm Rampager: Swap your steel blades for wooden oars in this rowing mini-game.

Who were the Vikings?

The Vikings were a group of people between 700AD - 1100AD (The Vikings - Literally) who were known for sailing the seas trading goods, invading settlements and generally being a huge bother to whoever they came across.

They were mostly farmers and skilled crafters, (Were Vikings just pillagers? Think again!) making amazing wooden huts, long swords and some very fashionable clothing (Viking Eye for a Saxon guy).
