Can you beat the Blue Peter Ouchology quiz?

Could you pass this quiz without taking on the GROSS ALERT forfeit? We put Doctors Chris, Xand and Leanne from Operation Ouch! through our super tricky quiz. Plus, discover the affects of fizzy drinks on your teeth with a fun experiment that you can do at home!

How well do you know the human body?

Play our fun, three round, quiz above to test yourself and name some of the organs in the human body.

We can't have a Blue Peter quiz without a bit of silliness, so for round 2, can you also help diagnose what absurd objects Hacker has 'eaten' in his x-ray scans? (Obviously, they're a joke! Please don't try to eat general household objects!)

Finally, we hope you don't have Questiophobia because we're going to ask you questions about phobias! Finish off the quiz in round three, where you'll have to guess the names of tricky phobias and what they're a fear of.

How did you score?

Try this tooth decay science experiment at home!

Join Dr Leanne and Hacker as they create the perfect science experiment to show the effects of cola, orange juice, vinegar and water on your teeth. You can even try it home, or ask your teacher to do it in class with you!

What you will need:

  • 4 hard boiled eggs

  • Water

  • Cola

  • Orange juice

  • Old tooth brush

  • Toothpaste

If you tired this at home, let us know how you got on in the comments! Were you shocked by the results?

Why does cola, orange juice and vinegar damage your tooth enamel?

They’re all very acidic, which means they can wear away the hard outer shell of your teeth, called enamel. Enamel is made from minerals like calcium, just like an eggshell. So when these drinks sit on your teeth again and again, they slowly dissolve the enamel, just like the acid in our experiment dissolves the eggshell.
