How to carve your pumpkin and use the stencil

🚨Be careful when using sharp tools to carve pumpkins. Always ask a grown-up to help you!🚨

  1. Cut a hole in the top of your pumpkin and scoop out all the seeds into a bowl. You can even use the pumpkin filling in lots of tasty pumpkin recipes.

  2. Print your chosen stencil and carefully cut out the design with scissors.

  3. Use a marker pen to draw the stencil shapes onto your pumpkin. You can trace around the inside of the stencil or use the cut-out pieces and draw around the outside.

  4. Carefully use your carving tools to cut out the sections of your design.

  5. Place a battery powered tea light in the centre of your pumpkin and watch your spooky pumpkin come to life.
