- 200g - Cream biscuits
- 50g - Unsalted butter (melted) - For biscuit base
- 150g - Ready to eat custard
- 1/2 tsp - Green food gel colouring
- 1/2 tsp - Vanilla extract
- 87 ml - Double cream
- 20g - Unsalted butter - For chocolate top
- 50g - Dark chocolate
- 50g - Milk chocolate
How to make these slime-filled Halloween treats...
Step one: Biscuit base

Start by blitzing up some cream filled biscuits in a blender to make them all crumbly. (If you don't have a blender, you can use a rolling pin and strong sealable bag to crush your biscuits)
In a bowl, combine the crushed biscuits and melted butter.

Once the biscuit base is all mixed up, lay out your cupcake cases on a cupcake tray and begin adding your biscuit mixture to each case. You will need to firmly press down the biscuit mixture to the bottom with your fingers.
Pop the tray in the freezer to harden.
Step two: Slime custard filling

In a bowl combine custard with food colouring and vanilla extract.
Once the cupcake bases are hardened from the freezer, pour the 'slime' mixture into each base. Fill up two thirds of the way up the cupcake case, leaving some room for decoration.
Pop back into the freezer for at least 40 minutes or until firm.
Step three: Chocolate top

Heat your cream and butter in the microwave, or in a pan on a low heat. (Be careful when using hot appliances, make sure you get a grown up to help you!)
Once hot, stir in the dark and milk chocolate and mix carefully until melted.
Leave to cool for five minutes.
Take your cupcakes out of the freezer and pour the chocolate filling on top.
Leave to cool on the side whilst you prep your decorations.
Step four: Decoration

Break your white chocolate into pieces and place in a microwave safe bowl. Using short bursts, heat in the microwave until melted. It’s very easy to burn chocolate, so pay attention and keep checking and stirring to be safe. (Be careful as the bowl will be very hot, ask a grown up to help you!)
Pour the white chocolate into your piping bag and pipe three small circles on the top of your cupcakes.
Use a cocktail stick to drag through the circles, from the centre outwards, to create your spiders web.
Repeat this step on all of the cupcakes.
If you have any extra white chocolate, get some baking paper and pipe a small circle and eight legs to create some spooky spiders. Use some chocolate topping and a cocktail stick to dot on some tiny eyes.
Put everything back in the fridge to set, until completely hard.

Once set, take out of the fridge, peel off your spider decorations and place on top of your cupcake.
Dig in and enjoy! Happy Halloween :)
