Journey through an ear canal covered in gooey wax, squeeze past sticky snot and plunge headfirst into the incredible world of our senses.

Get shrunk down to microscopic size and set out on a medical mission. Venture through the five familiar senses of touch, sight, hearing, smell and taste, as well as lesser-known secret senses that help you stay balanced, tell you when you need a wee and when it's time to sleep.

From sight to sound, mini medics and curious kids can get stuck in to sense-sational science through interactive games, challenges and fun facts guided by videos and illustrations of Operation Ouch! hosts Dr Chris, Dr Xand and Dr Ronx.

Operation Ouch! Brains, Bogies and You brings the hit BBC Children's and Education TV series to life for an unforgettable exhibition experience.

The Science and Industry Museum is a place full of amazing objects and world-changing ideas, from the Industrial Revolution to today and beyond. Entry to the museum is free, but charges apply to visit our special exhibition, Operation Ouch! Brains, Bogies and You (open until 4 Jan 2026).

The Science and Industry Museum is one of over 200 attractions around the UK participating in the Blue Peter Badge Attraction Scheme.

Blue Peter Badge holders can claim up to two free child tickets for Operation Ouch! Brains, Bogies and You at the Science and Industry Museum in Manchester. Children must be accompanied by a full paying adult. Cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
