Strength vs Skill: Who’s the ultimate record-breaker?
The ultimate challenge has landed in the Blue Peter studio, this time with a world record twist! It’s all about strength for Gladiator Steel and skill for circus artist, Sam Goodburn. Who will come out victorious as they battle three epic world challenges?
What are the world record challenges?
STRENGTH
For Zak (AKA Steel), he will be attempting three world records based on strength. They are:
Most squats with a person on his back in 30 seconds. (Brand new Guinness World Record - minimum required of 18 squats)
Fastest five-metre handstand return walk. (Brand New Guinness World Record - minimum required 16 seconds or less)
Most push ups on medicine balls carrying a 20 pound pack in one minute. (Current Guinness World Record - 112 press-ups)
SKILL
For Sam, he will be attempting three world records based on skill! They are:
The most stacked biscuits held whilst unicycling across a tightwire. (Brand new Guinness World Record - Has to complete one revolution of the wheel without dropping any biscuits and the minimum biscuits required to hold is 30 biscuits)
The most around-the-world tricks with a biscuit in 30 seconds. (Brand new Guinness World Record - Minimum required is 15 tricks)
The most biscuits kicked from foot to mouth, while riding a unicycle in 30 seconds. (Brand new Guinness World Record - Minimum required 6)
