As Tony Hall, the Director-General of the BBC, launched and set out his vision for BBC Music, which includes so many new ideas and a wonderful celebration of live music, here at BBC Wales we're at the heart of new music initiatives too with the brand new launch of our 'Summer of Music' campaign.
The new Horizons project is at the heart of these activities. Have a look at the new TV trail here:

Already this year, after the Horizons launch at Focus Wales in Wrexham, various artists from the 12 Horizons artists have played at five festivals, been part of countless live radio events, and had some wonderful opportunities – like Chris Jones' performance with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales in May.
We'll be heading to another eight events across the summer and for the first time we're curating new music stages at these events. The 12 Horizons acts will be heading to Dinefwr, Tafwyl, Gwyl Arall, Gwyl Gardd Goll, Eisteddfod, Gwyl Gwydir, Festival no 6, and Swn, and we're thrilled that Kizzy Crawford will be the first Horizons act to play on the BBC Introducing Stages at Glastonbury.
We hope you can join us at some point through coverage on BBC Radio Wales and BBC Radio Cymru or in person if you're at the festival!
One of the highlights for me so far has been seeing the music visualised, with the brilliant young director Ryan Owen Eddleston at the helm of some unique sessions.
All the videos from Hay on Wye, featuring Seazoo, Kizzy and more, are available on the Horizons website.
This month we also celebrate our first Featured Artist of the Month, three siblings from Bethel near Caernarfon: Plu.
They were featured on BBC Radio Wales' Frank Hennessy's Celtic Heartbeat on Sunday.

A new series about the Horizons artists has started on BBC Radio Cymru, hosted by Lisa Gwilym, starting with Chris Jones, an elusive traditional folk singer from Cwm y Glo. Listen to Lisa's profile on the artist, featuring an exclusive session.
The next festival is Dinefwr this weekend, and Mal Pope will be bringing the BBC Radio Wales afternoon show to the site on Friday afternoon, with a session from Horizon artist Casi Wyn, so tune in on Friday at bbc.co.uk/radiowales or join us there.
