Week Eight Results Show

Last night the remaining nine stars pulled out all the stops as they battled for the all-important place at Blackpool next week.

Anita and Gleb wowed with a fast and furious Quickstep, while Jay and Aliona danced a fantastic Foxtrot. And let’s not forget Kellie and Kevin’s room shaking Samba… yeah boy!

However, it was Georgia and Giovanni’s show-stopping Charleston that topped the leader board. Earning an impressive score of 39 – the highest of the competition so far – Craig was completely bowled over and simply said three words: “L.U.V.”

Jeremy and Karen landed at the bottom of the Leader Board after their Quickstep was awarded 21 points. Bruno admired Jeremy’s determination and resilience, but said he hasn’t quite “struck gold” yet.

Tonight the wait will be over, as we’ll finally find out who will be boarding the bus to Blackpool and who’ll be leaving the competition. Who do you think will be triumphant in the battle for Blackpool? And who will be performing again for the Judges in the dreaded dance off?
