Week Four: Results Show

Last night saw how tough the competition is on this year’s Strictly as our top six couples were left separated on the leader board by just two points! The many dance floor delights included Helen and Aljaz playing doctors, Jeremy Vine caught having a shower and Daniel O’Donnell flying high as a pilot.

The big news that had everyone talking – and a few Strictly historians checking their record books – was that Katie Derham managed to earn her and Anton Du Beke a place at the top of the leader board – only the second time in 12 years that Anton has gained such heights! The judges thought their Viennese Waltz was the performance of the night and awarded them an unrivalled 33 points!

Jeremy and Karen left the judges feeling damp and miserable with their bathroom-themed Jive to ‘Splish Splash’ by Bobby Darin. Propping-up the leader board with just 20 points, the pair could take some solace in Len’s words that Jeremy may not be consistently the best dancer, but he’s “consistently the most fun to watch”.
