Strictly Leader Board: Week Four
Another sensational Strictly live show has left us all breathless with excitement, with all our 13 couples hitting the Ballroom floor with verve and vigour!
The outstanding performance was left to the last dance of the night as Katie and pro-partner Anton, whose fantastic Viennese Waltz to Elvis’ ‘If I Can Dream’ scored an impressive 33 points from the Judges. Head Judge Len Goodman complimented Katie on her “Wonderful neck and lovely extension”.
But extraordinarily there was a pack of four couples just one point behind on the scoreboard.

Kellie and Kevin scored eight from all the Judges for their beautifully romantic Foxtrot to ‘Dream A Little Dream”, whilst Jamelia and Tristan impressed with their fun-packed Charleston to Paula Abdul’s ‘Straight Up’.
Helen and Aljaz didn’t disappoint with their hot hospital Salsa to the Miami Sound Machines 'Dr Beat', again with straight eights from all the Judges. And Peter and Janette weren’t going to be left out of the 32 club with their dramatic Tango to New Order’s classic ‘Blue Monday’.
Unfortunately a few couples struggled on the night, and failed to wow the Judges. Kirsty and Brendan’s Paso Doble to U2’s ‘Beautiful Day’ was heavily criticised, with Len saying “it was a bit like a paella, tasty in places, but there’s always a few funny things floating about”. They only managed a score of 21.

But it was Jeremy and Karen who left the Judges feeling a bit soggy following their highly entertaining bathroom-themed Jive to ‘Splish Splash’ by Bobby Darin. Craig declared that Jeremy looked like a “stork that had been hit by lightning” and scored them a measly three, and in total they scored only 20, leaving them rock bottom of the Leader Board.
Let us know which couple you think should be in the dreaded Dance-Off, and who you think should return to the Ballroom next week.
