Daniel O'Donnell leaves Strictly

Irish Singer Daniel O'Donnell became the third celeb to leave Strictly Come Dancing 2015.

This weekend, Daniel and his pro-partner Kristina Rihanoff took off with an American Smooth to Fly Me To The Moon. Unfortunately, the judges seemed rather unmoved and scored the pair a lowly 23.

Daniel and Kristina faced a dance off against Kirsty and Brendan whose Paso Doble to U2's Beautiful Day scored 21.

Sadly, Daniel and Kristina weren't able to reach any lofty heights during their dance off and the judges responded with unanimously deciding that they should leave the competition.

When asked by Tess if he had enjoyed his time on the show, Daniel said, “Absolutely – whatever I have given [to the show], I have received tenfold - absolutely and honestly. I want to say thank you to all the people who voted.”

Kristina added, “You were such a joy to work with; you are the most wonderful guy, always there with a smile, always ready to learn. It was an absolutely wonderful experience for me, so thank you so much.”
