Casualty charmer Charles Venn Cha-Cha-Chas into Strictly!

He loves a good workout, but has super fit actor Charles got the stamina to soar through Strictly?

One thing he's definitely ready for is the full Strictly makeover. “Some of the costumes certainly do not leave much to the imagination, but they mostly look good I feel,” he said. “I’ll definitely have to do more sit ups though, just to fit in them!”

Casualty fans will know Charles from his role as maverick nurse Jacob Masters, bringing his signature swagger and smouldering looks to the emergency department. Rewind a few years, and many will recognise him from shows such as Footballer’s Wives, Sky One’s Dream Team and EastEnders.

Outside of acting Charles can often be found in the gym, so he’s more than ready for Strictly's rigorous training regime. But will he be strong enough to keep up with his Pro partner?
