Week 10 - Rehearsals

Oh i am a bit worried about Harry's rumba, it is hard!! he has the most difficult dance from all couples this week!!! Harry be sexy, and lots of hip actions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Will keep my fingers crossed!!!!!

Harry looks a bit Craig Kelly in the hips and he still has thumbs up flat hands. Do hope this is sorted by Saturday.

Looking at these music and dance choices early doors 3 of them work for me while 3 don't work for me.



Top 2 standouts for me this week are Jason and Kristina and Chelsee and Pasha. Jason and Kristina have an American Smooth and for me it could not be better they have a classic music choice from a smash hit musical Singin In The Rain and as far as I am concerned in the battle of the American Smooth's between Jason and Kristina win by a mile I totally expect Jason to nail this routine this week.



Also Chelsee and Pasha but doubtful about the music choice I'm a Beliver in my opinion it is a bit slow for a jive but all in all they have been my favourites throughout so it shouldn't be a problem for them.



Harry and Aliona bit if a worry here for 2 couples the Rumba has been the kiss of death for a dance routine Alex and James had their rumba branded by CRH cold, sexless and stiff and Jason and Kristina totally made a mess of it for me the Rumba is one of the most boring dances ever the judges will either like Harry and Aliona's routine or be relieved it's over.



In danger this week for me are Holly and Artem and Robbie and Ola Holly and Artem simply down to chemistry and passion they have been in the bottom two twice now and clearly it comes down to connection and passion and the Paso requires these two elements and in all honesty if they don't deliver the goods this week I think it's going to be 3rd time unlucky for Holly.



Robbie and Ola a quickstep to Little Green Bag sorry but that song does abasoloutley nothing for me I got a clip on Youtube and I thought quickstep to this you must be joking if anything lets them down it will be Robbie's moving round the floor but thankfully this week he will be covered up so no stripping thank god.

Forgot to comment about James and Alex they could also be in trouble this week I fear an American Smooth to Pretty Woman in my opinion that music choice would suit a rumba not an American Smooth Alex has been doing pretty well but the music choice just doesn't work and it might be the one thing in the entire routine that sends them home.

Tough to call here but James and Alex and Robbie and Ola these choices come down to poor music choice.



Holly and Artem simply put bottom two twice and this is simply down to lack of passion and chemistry two elements they will have to produce in this Paso if they don't want to be leaving this weekend.

Completly agree with Fergal regarding the rumba. We keep hearing that "...this is the most difficult dance for the celebrity...blah...blah...: but, the rumba is always where they fall down, in my opinion. Hope Harry manages it as he is absolutely brilliant.

I am so enjoying the series and looking forward to the movie week (despite reservations when I heard the line-up). I think everyone is vey "NICE" and not over-milking how important a journey it is/life-changing experience,...and so on.

COME ON ROBBIE & OLA!!!!! make the semi final! although not the final as that should be just the best three technically which is a shame as out of all the couples left Robbie & Ola and Chelsea & Pasha are the only two with any kind of personality in my opinion, and i wold like to see personality in the final too.

I think Holly and Artem are looking good this week.

I hope they get through - I think they deserve better than bottom two

Think Holly and Artem might be in danger of leaving this week - simply because they have been in the bottom 2 for the past two weeks. Good dancers but for some reason not getting the votes. Harry has good extension and their lines match nicely. Bit early to comment on the others as they look like they are marking dances out. Alex needs more finishing to her position when in the lift; Robbie looks OK; Chelsee's free arm not doing much at present (which Craig won't like!) but they do look like they were just marking the steps so the armwork will come later - all looking exciting!

The "I'm a Believer" version Chelsee & Pasha are dancing to is form Shrek which is faster than the original Monkees version. ;-)



Looks like Alex & James could be doing a Tango AS as Roy Orbison's "Pretty Woman" is very much a Tango piece (too staccato for Rumba IMHO).



From Len's point of view Holly & Artem & Jason & Kristina will have the most appropriate music for their respective dance styles so should both do well.

I'm really baffled by the comments that there is no chemistry between Holly and Artem. I think they have great chemistry - maybe at the start of the competition this was true as Holly was quite reserved but I think these two get on great together.



Holly seems to love the paso so I'm hoping this will show in her routine on Saturday. I have my fingers crossed for her as I think she definitely deserves to be in this competition to the end! Come on team Hartem!!!!

I think Jason, Chelsee and Harry will be safe; Holly, Alex and Robbie not so safe.

Can't wait to see Robbie and Ola they are dancing to my fave chooon!

I've got visitors coming on Saturday, so will need to record the show and catch up with it later - boo!



Looking forward to seeing Chelsee, Jason and Alex' routines. Harry with the Rhumba, I'm not sure about, although if the judges do their usual with Harry, they will will (probably) overmark it regardless of what it looks like!



Holly and Artem are looking quite good in training, hope she keeps that up for Saturday.



I really don't see what others see in Robbie. Yes, he has improved since he started with Strictly, but I think he has reached a plateau (and that wasn't just last week) and I haven't seen much improvement recently. Resorting to tricks (like removing his trousers as he did last week) just doesn't cut it with me. I'd really like to see him go this week.

Robbie really should go this week as the rest are better dancers, but he has been in all the papers saying he is dedicating this dance to his friend ) Gary Speed ) who committed suicide this week. So all football supports are voting for him. Its a nice gesture, but i do feel he knows it will keep him in.

Janstevie, yes you right!! all his fans will feel sorry for him, and vote, which unfortunately is not ok!!!! he is the worse one, so he should really go!!

this week looks to be a really good week i am so suprised with alex that american smooth looks amazing! have a gut feeling that this week could be a step back for harry and aliona hopefully they get it right on the day
