Sunny Wednesday here, sunny Wednesday across loads of UK so cheers, thanks for that and pour me a lime juice with soda, thanks. A few extra degrees will be most welcome. Elkie was interesting yesterday , unpredictable, playful and that voice is still in evidence; her off-air singalong to ELO's Roll Over Beethoven (even though she'd never heard it before!) was a treat.
US RnB star Alexander O'Neal on the show today celebrating 30 years since his Hearsay album. He's back in the UK touring and playing all over and getting top reviews all over again. Classic late 80s soul still sounds super fresh to me and Fake jumps out of the radio every time it's on. And how about HEARSAY/GOSSIP and WILD SPECULATION tunes. Never been a finer time.
