Well now good morning to all. No screenings today so I don't get to feel that 'how weird to be watching films at 10am' feeling. Yesterday's was King Arthur where I was prepping for Jude Law (main baddy) and Chris Evans was prepping for Guy Ritchie (director). Don't usually see Chris very much as we're on at somewhat different times but we both had a blast. I love seeing films at 10am but you get used to audiences behaving themselves and forget quite how enraging it is to have someone text/eat curry next to you.
Today's no-film-situation means that it's just show prep all the way and it's Elkie Brookes on today. She has a new best-of out with some new tunes on it, including one co-written by Bryan Adams which gets its premiere tonight! She was in Radio 2 yesterday for Johnnie Walker and hear her live tonight!
And tonight it's the Classical Music Awards in London held by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra so let's do CLASSICALLY INSPIRED oldies please and be ready for the overture at 5.05
