I ain't lying 'cause there ain't no time

And good morning to you too. Warmer and sunnier here with a promise of pizza and creamy coleslaw later (that's not Nigel's offering by the way, that's just a fantasy).

Enjoyed yesterday's show and Alexander O'Neal was a treat. I expected the shiny soul star stories, I wasn't expecting the tales of his Mississippi youth, the KKK and his mother challenging him if he 'went all Malcom X on her'.

Most interviews follow an expected path, sometimes though they steer elsewhere and you're never quite sure where they're heading. This was one of those and most revealing it was too, it felt like there were many more stories to come if time had permitted.

Foodie Thursday again today with Nige kicking in with Spiced Leg of Lamb with Cauliflower and Coconut. Or maybe spiced leg of lamb with cauliflower and coconut (no caps I think).

And it's Eurovision time this weekend so the challenge is to do SONGS FOR EUROPE without choosing songs for Europe (caps this time I think). Don your spangliest frock/slacks/vest and choose a tune for us...
