Only 3 of Mr Celsius’s precious degrees here this morning. Everyone is so keen to move on to their spring wardrobe collection (cardigans, slacks, cotton frocks etc) that it is easy to resent this stubborn cold. 'Isn’t it supposed to be warming by now?' we grumble, ‘not much sign of climate change here’ etc. “And then I remember family Easter caravanning trips to the New Forest and scraping the frozen condensation off the windows and snow from the car. Easter camping has not featured prominently on the Mayo holiday list for a while now…
Tunesday went down well I thought yesterday, thanks for the nice comments. I agree that the Stones and The Doors sounded particularly fine. We should do it again soon. Today young Clare Balding is on to talk about walking and rambling. She has many strings to her bow of course but anyone who has heard her series on Radio 4 knows that she does walking and talking about life, the countryside and everything better than anyone else. ‘Walking Home’ covers 1500 miles of footpaths and many stories about family, animals and going home and so WALKING is definitely your song subjet du jour.
[And to be clear, today’s title is a lyric, not a confession]
See you at 5!
