Good morning through the gloom and dampness of London Town (see yesterday’s blog for weather disappointment). As Nick Drake said, Bryter Later. But I feel moved, after Clare B’s chat yesterday to start walking to work. I shall then notice my fellow man/woman and cheerily wish them all good luck with their day. Unless of course I spend the whole walk on my phone, in which case i will deserve to collide with a lamppost. It takes me an hour to walk to work and after the clocks change and the snow stops falling, I shall be, as Joe Jackson sang last night, Stepping Out… (enough song titles. Ed)
