A quiet weekend spent in London, Liverpool and Bristol. Trains and motorways, theatres and concert halls. Just talking to people and things like that. It's been fun, in an understated shy and retiring way. Hope your weekend was jolly fine too with just the right mixture of relaxation, achievement and chocolate. A few weekend treats are always welcome and we now have a few days to pay for them.
Today we are kicking off the week with some fine Drivetime tunes, a top confession and young Ian Rankin on his new Rebus story 'Even Dogs In The Wild'. Ian has been writing about the grumpy detective since 1987 and accounts for 10% of all British crime fiction sales. The man is a phenomenon! No August in Edinburgh would be complete without him and he's welcome in November too. CRIME oldies may well fit the (old) bill today...
And if this train makes it in time, so will I. See you at 5.
