Super mild around all parts today. This is my favourite weather, mild and damp. Wet and windy. Warm and wild. Dark and stormy (also a drink I just about remember from a holiday in Bermuda involving rum and bitter lemon. At least I think there was some bitter lemon…). 5.45 this morning was shorts weather! And I’m not even kidding (said in teen voice).
Slightly more clothed, here we go on a fine Tuesday with top cook and food writer Nigel Slater. His Kitchen Diaries are wonderful tomes of warmth and wisdom (and food, obvs). His books are also beautifully produced (well done Fourth Estate) and Nigel will be here after 6 to drive you crazy with wonderful recipes and simple suppers. And KITCHEN songs to whet the whistle of course!
