Dark and wet! Dark then wet! Then wetter and darker! The end of November dawning in customary style with get-up-and-go weather and a top week on the way. I had a weekend of dreary driving but fabulous bacon sandwiches, pizza and shopping (with 2 actual reindeer). Then another bacon sandwich with home made brown sauce (not mine) which was the best ever. Some writerly chat was had, some parenting wisdom was dispensed and a howling gale was faced down. And thats about it…what about you?
Book club with Landfalls by Naomi J Williams live from California. She’s another debut author and her story considers a true tale of exploration and adventure from 1785. This was a journey of scientific and geographical discovery. There’s tragedy and mystery aplenty and you can dip a toe in by reading the opening chapter right here on the Book Club pages. It’s a terrific read, don’t miss Naomi after 6.
Elsewhere it is CYBER MONDAY as the pre-Christmas discounting spree reaches fever pitch (apparently). A well known on-line site has just sent me an email offering me a few gift ideas-and all of them are books written by me. This might not be the wisest idea but I’ll consider it obviously. Anyway CYBER MONDAY songs if you have any, thanks...
