Morning groovers. My BBC weather app tells me my degrees today are 2,2,3,3,4,4,4,4,3,3,3,3,2,2,1. So much to look forward to there! I might plan something special for that first 4. A trip to the bins maybe or a biscuit in the garden. Rocknroll! I see a cheeky 8 turning up on Sunday and next Thursday Radio 2 studios will be basking in a 9. Be still my beating spring wardrobe. Until then my new scarf is wrapped around anything that needs it. I also am being very nice to my boiler, just in case…
Foody Fursday here again and Nigel swans in with Spanish chicken with chorizo and castanets (or something). Cue Matt correcting my pronunciation with barely controlled exasperation.
And as the 500 words comp gears up again, we’ll have a go at SHORT STORY songs i.e. songs with short stories in, not short songs with stories although they’d be ok too. Think that’s clear. I’ve always loved the great singing storytellers so lets get some of the best ones on tonight.
