What ho! Thursday morning dawning bright and chilly here like it's February or something. Hail and lightning yesterday though apparently April is the hailiest of months in most of the UK. It's not big and heavy hail but soft and sensitive hail so you shouldn't be beaten into the pavement as you run for car. And in case it's worth anything, the ancient wisdom has it like this
When St George growls in the sky
Wind and storm are drawing nigh
Though equally other sages had this ditty-
When Cheltenham hosts jazzy Jo Whiley
The weather will make you go all smiley
And that is an amazing coincidence because that's exactly where Jo is today. Jack Savoretti plays for Jo tonight and you can hear a preview when Jack chats on Drivetime around 5.20. Then we have some foodie Thursday action with Nige offering a beef mini-roast with a chutney and coriander glaze. Or just a glaze for Bobbie.
And today is Pay It Forward day around the world when we are asked to perform random acts of kindness to 3 or more strangers. So KINDNESS songs will be a fine side order to Nigel's main course
