And a very good morning to you too. Friday Drivetime and a film show on the cards today, normalcy returns. Guardians of the Galaxy is back too with a Volume 2 and Chris Pratt is our guest, reprising his role as Peter Quill/Star Lord. Volume 1 was one of those hits that caught most by surprise as it steamrolled to a 700 million dollar box office success. It was a Marvel film sure, but was expected to flop. So everyone on the project is, as you can imagine, a little bit chuffed. And the soundtrack is 70s-tastic with ridiculous prominence given to Brandy by Looking Glass, a truly terrible song but touted here (ironically) as the best song earth has produced.

All Request Friday then taking off with 1970 selected for the big opening. So there's a General Election, a World Cup (tears in the quarter final for England) and farewell to the half-crown (12.5p for younger bloggers). At the movies it's Catch 22, MASH and The Aristocats and on your radio? There were some fine tunes to select of course so over to you...
