Cheery greetings from the estate where an early start is needed again. First school visit of the year takes me north. All of 3 miles. I shall sing and dance, tell jokes and juggle and generally be a credit to the network. And try to be more interesting than lessons. I can tell within a minute whether it's going to be a struggle or a breeze. I'm hoping for an easy ride and staff who might listen to the show. They're the ones who chortle and applaud in all the right places. We're a cultured bunch.
Today it's David Walliams. Seriously this guy is too good. West End, sitcom, BGT judge and best selling author. I mean rest up David! His new story for kids is Demon Dentist about, well, an unpleasant dentist. Who's a demon. And for those who had a school dentist like mine this is a traumatic subject. I shall tell David that I had a dentist who didn't believe in anaesthetic and we can take it from there. DENTISTS however is a good oldies theme which we haven't done for some time so let's fill a hole and drill deep and see if we can crown our achievements with another good list of tunes.
