Shhh. I’m watching a film. It’s 7am and I’m actually watching a film. Have been since 6am. It’s ok I’m in my kitchen, not in a cinema but I’ve run out of hours in the day. Fortunately it’s a good one, festive, Dickensian and it’s got Jonathan Pryce in it. Coffee, toast and movies might just be the way to go.
Tonight it’s top actor Anne-Marie Duff (what a Queen Elizabeth she was!) who stars in a new play by the guy who wrote The Curious Incident play. It’s called Heisenberg: The Uncertainty Principle though that might make you think it’s about science where actually it’s about a relationship. Anne-Marie (young-ish, American, in-your-face) and Ken Cranham (old, butcher, contained/sad). And as you might remember, it’s one tube of toffees long.
And also tonight (and this could be bad planning) there are 2 travel Awards evenings: the British Travel Awards Gala Night AND the Tatler Travel Awards. Which means the TRAVELLING playlist will be a thing of joy!
