Had a 3 Worder yesterday along the lines of ‘annual snow-mageddon hyperbole’ which seems about right. ‘Blooming cold for a while but then it’s about to be Winter’ would have been a less catchy but more accurate headline. Some papers seem to predict weather catastrophe every year, every season which seems very un-British to me. Keeping calm, carrying on and sensible clothing seems a better way.
Comic Milton Jones today who seems to be embarking on the biggest tour of all time. The man with that hair and those shirts has ‘a manifesto of nonsense’ which might be, he says, the perfect solution to the world’s troubles. And he may be right there. There’s a long and noble tradition of nonsense comedy here-let’s not use the word zany-so long may he tour. In fact, how about a NONSENSE playlist to go with Milton’s nonsense comedy? Good, thought so.
