I do like Thursdays. I really do. The week's work is largely done, Nige has some food for us and Bob H has some country tunes for the drive home. And I can blog in my pjs as the school run is someones else's job. Decadent huh? But the down side is I'm slow to get going and spend the day catching up with you pace-setters and go-getters. Plus child 3 seemed to have mislaid everything needed for the day at school-gloves, homework etc so the last minute panic run-around and search gets going again. A trail of wreckage can be followed around the house...
Really enjoyed Woddy and Suggs yesterday. I interviewed Madness on the early 80s and that wasn't fun but now they are a joy. They seem genuinely grateful for the fact that they are still going and still appreciated. And the new album has some top work in it and some classic Madness tunes. Nice one boys!
And songs please for the act/art of MIMING. Beyonce-as you know-has been accused of miming the national anthem at Obama's inauguration. So lip-synching please and all songs received before-roughly- 3pm considered,analysed and filleted.
Jon Bon Jovi will be in at 5.20 to talk about the live show tonight and Nige cooks a Mexican corn chowder.
