Still like Fridays. Even though the weekend can be busier than the week (and I get up at the same time anyway) the 'Friday Feeling', which must start at school, persists for ever. Hooray for the weekend. But first hooray for Friday and the takeaway/ the cinema trip/ the pub visit/ the early night with a cup of hot chocolate and some peanuts. Rocknroll!
Quick film this morning then Domhnall Gleeson is in to talk Ex Machina on the movie show. And the ARF kicks off with 1990 as our opening gambit. I was still doing the breakfast shift, Glasgow is the European city of culture, John Gummer had a much photographed hamburger with his daughter and there's a mighty heatwave hitting 37.1 C in Cheltenham. Plus Rosie and Jim first aired on ITV. Depending on whether you were watching kids TV in the 90s or not, this was the start of your many hours spent on a canal barge called Ragdoll. If you weren't watching, that will have made no sense but it was quite a thing at the time...
Have a fabulous Friday, see you at 5
