Volume 2

Well good people of the blog, greetings and warm toasty aromas from here. Chunky jumpers ahoy! Time for the warmest of clothing to be donned and sported and draped. You might think though, from the way this weather is being reported, that it is somehow surprising and terrible. It'll be winter and that's it. No snow here but as long as the boiler doesn't die again, all will be well. I have a friend in Australia who keeps ending me pictures of the beaches shes visiting and I can do without that provocation but her aside...

Special bloggery mention to Amelia who has compiled an extraordinary bible-style compendium of every one of these postings over the 5 years I've been writing these posts. I shall now start the day with a team meeting where I shall choose a reading from the book of blogs. At its conclusion, we shall all say 'bless the BBC's fine IT systems' and the book shall be closed for another day. An amazing show artefact! Thanks and here's to the next 5 years...
