Gaslight anthems

All good here with an early start and off to a screening of a movie (can't remember which one) in a screening room (not sure of that either). But when I get there it'll be lovely. Imagine this - you go see a film and everyone sits quietly and attentively. No one eats, no one talks, no one phones. This of course has a massive spoiling effect. When a normal cinema trip is underway, I spend most of the time appalled at the non stop eating, chatting and texting. And facebooking. And skyping. Then spilling popcorn everywhere. Then fighting. So I'll think of my local screen 8 crowd later as I sink into my super-quiet chair in the super-quiet room and raise my non-existent glass to them all.

Then we're back on course for a fabulous Wednesday show and special guest, multi-million selling Barbara Dickson. Her new album Winter seems at least appropriate and it's always good to catch up with one of our top singers.

And how about PETROL songs as it seems to be getting cheaper everywhere and is the subject of the moment.
