I have never met Hank Marvin, I have never spoken to Hank Marvin. I apologise for the oversight, it won't happen again. Today I get to sort that out. I remember watching- was it a Cliff TV show?-when he affected a strange theatrical cough when Cliff was speaking. any bloggers remember that? Now I've written it down it looks like nonsense, so maybe it's me. Anyway, enough of the frippery. One of the most celebrated guitarists from these shores is on the show! Eric Clapton, Mark Knopfler, Jeff Beck and Neil Young have all acknowledged him as a major influence. The Shadows remain Britain's biggest selling instrumental band and now Hank has a new album out (called 'Hank' if you must know). And-given that he's also rhyming slang- HANK MARVIN oldies please
