I have a terrible feeling. A sense of foreboding. There's a momentum behind the idea which I am powerless to stop. I fear I am going to have to have a pedicure. As soon as I suggested that men don't really have them, the writing was on the wall. My feet are fine thank you very much and have no need of fancy-dan ointments and potions but such arguments are already dust. By the end of the show I'll have the swankiest feet in town. If I like them I might show them off on the tube home. But more likely they'll be thrust into inappropriately teenage footware and thence pound the streets until the goth-black nail varnish has rubbed off.

Elsewhere, and far more importantly, let us prepare for Jimmy Page today as we talk Led Zep and the whole remastering project that he is masterminding. What else is there to say about the influence of Led Zeppelin? Child 3 was asking whether they were more influential than, in no particular order, The Beatles, Michael Jackson and The Bee Gees. Let the conversations commence!

Radio 2's guitar season is a lovely, twangy thing indeed and, post-Hank, where better to alight than 'rock's greatest and most mysterious guitar hero' according to the LA Times. He's Number 3 in Rolling Stone's Greatest Guitarists Of All Time' and what else do you have to do after 6 anyway?

I loved the variety of the Hank songs, very inventive! So lets try that one more time-JIMMY PAGE tunes please.

It's gonna be LOUD.
