Well hey there Drivetime groovers here we go again. Looks like I'm a little adrift on the blog post numbers...by a few hundred. Thanks for keeping it all ticking over. I've been nowhere really (as I messed up the holiday booking, sad face emoji) apart from loads of exhibitions, plays and pizza parlours. London is, as it turns out, a pretty good place to spend some free time. So compulsory family time went fine thanks for asking. Happy not to see another hot cross bun for awhile and just the one egg to go before the broccoli kicks in.
Back in the groove yesterday with some fine Monday requests, so today is easy. It's a book club day with the current number one YA hardback in the New York Times chart, The Hate You Give by Angie Thomas. Also known as T.H.U.G. this is one YA title (amongst the many) you need in your life. It's about a black 16 year old girl called Starr who witnesses her friend's killing by a white policeman-that's really all you need. There's a chapter here!
And let's keep it with the letters. Songs with spelling, initials, acronyms. You remember how it goes.
