What ho! A fine looking day from where I'm typing with the promise of a Spanish Plume over the weekend. Good for the asparagus, good for us too. I'm off next week so I'm sure it'll all fall apart but for now, don that cheesecloth, spray on that factor 50 and fire up the BBQ.
But two shows first with the film show up at 2 with Star Wars star Riz Ahmed in City of Tiny Lights, a private detective story set in West London. Then an ARF which kicks off with some 1969 action. Space Hoppers are the big thing and sensible folk were bouncing all over the place. Paul McCartney married Linda Eastman, Lulu married Maurice Gibb and John married Yoko. At the movies, it's Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, The Italian Job and Midnight Cowboy. And on the radio? Some fine tunes to choose from - what would you fancy?
Meantime I'll be off next week, I'm guessing a blog post number 367.
