Rightiho, here we go with another fine week lined up for you (statement of faith, based on all available evidence). Hope the weekend rocked in the way you wanted it to. I spent most of it on a train butended up in Melrose which was a lovely thing. I hadn't really been in the Borders before but fully intend to return. And thanks to stressed Erica, I had some classy minty confectionary to consume on the bone-rattler home.
Is number 32 still available on the competition? It appears so but I may have missed something....
Off to The Eagles tonight! Yes tonight's the night and now Richard's spinning One Of These Nights and I'm practicing my 4-part harmonies. With startling results I can tell you.
Book Club today with Emma Healey and her debut novel 'Elizabeth is Missing'. It's about Maud, a woman with dementia trying to solve 2 mysteries, one in the present-she's convinced her friend Elizabeth is missing- and one in 1946 when her younger sister disappeared. Read a chapter here then hear Emma tonight after 6.
And with all this art knocking around this week-we are celebrating painting with Colour On The Radio - we'll have songs about COLOURS please. So make it stylish!
See you at 5ish.
* Old Tom Paxton song in case you were wondering.
